A ghost walk is being held in Downtown Fullerton this July.
Haunted Orange County is presenting the hour-and-a-half tour, appropriate for ages 12 and up, with those under 18 required to be accompanied by an adult.
Regardless of whether a person believes in ghosts or not, the tour can serve as a veritable history about the various legends of the supposed spectral actors inhabiting landmarks throughout the downtown strip.
From theater phantoms to restaurant poltergeists, the tour traces Fullerton’s otherworldly history from the late Victorian era to the modern day.
As railroads brought an influx of prospectors and settlers to populate California, the greater Orange County region flourished, generating the area’s earliest modern ghost myths.
Known for its decorative storefronts hosting hotspots of industry and culture, the town of Fullerton was named after George Fullerton, who helped to transform it into the bustling community it is today.
Participants are advised to bring sturdy shoes for walking as they soak in the luminescence from the antique streetlamps that still line the roads of Fullerton today, discovering legends about the inhabitants of the town’s afterlife.
Walking tours like this may choose to use brochure printing to create historical and landmark guides.
The Downtown Fullerton Ghost Walk is happening on Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 pm at 136 E Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton.
