What's Happening in Fullerton, CA…

Fullerton will host a downtown Winter Market this December.

The event is being put on by the Fullerton Museum and takes place at the Downtown Fullerton Plaza.

Photo opportunities with Santa Claus, children’s activities, a beer garden, vendors of both food and hand-crafted goods and holiday music performances are all part of the festivities, with the entire event venue decorated by twinkle lights.

Artisans will be selling items intended for gift-giving, with a cafe providing indoor amenities during the market.

Admission is free, all are welcome and it is considered a family-friendly event.

The early history of the Fullerton Museum Center, the event organizer, spans over 100 years ago. In 1907, a city library was built on the corners of Pomona and Wilshire avenues. It was the former spot of Gem Pharmacy operated by Mr. and Mrs. William Starbuck, who operated a traveling library from the store.

A new library was built in 1941, which was later leased to the Fullerton Museum Association in the 1970s. Then in 1973, the location of the museum moved to its current locale on Amerige and Short Street. After some expansions and renovations, it was renamed the Fullerton Museum Center in the 1980s.

Winter festivities like this may choose to use business card printing for vendors to stay in touch with customers.

The Fullerton Museum Center is hosting its Winter Market at the Downtown Fullerton Plaza on December 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 125 E Wilshire Ave in Fullerton.
