Deepspace Fest is coming to Fullerton. The unofficial, fan-run event encourages fans of the Chinese mobile game Love and Deepspace to meet other fans, take in live entertainment, and browse the market.

The highlight of the festival is expected to be the Mini Game Arena. Festival attendees can join Love and Deepspace-themed teams to participate in a variety of mini games. Players collect Stamps on a card as they complete games, and those who fill in their entire card will receive a commemorative Deepspace Fest medal. Additionally, stamps translate into shared points that can help teams climb the leaderboard. Those participating in the games must dress in their team colors. Attendees can also expect to find plenty of live entertainment on the main stage, and community booths will provide a look at the area's businesses, organizations, and resources. There will also be a market providing a range of items for purchase.

Vendors at similar festival markets sometimes use brochure printing services to create informational packets about their shops.

Cosplay is encouraged, but because it is an all-ages event, guests are discouraged from wearing attire that is too revealing, bringing weapon props, or wearing very large props. The festival has a full cosplay cast as well, but only those 18 or older can interact with them one on one. An ID is required, and attendees under 18 must wear an identifier.

Access to the market and artist alley is free, but tickets are required for other events. Courtside is $35 and provides full access to the event, choice of seating position, a photo experience, and exclusive merch. MVP access is $75 and provides additional benefits like a front-row seats and front-of-the-line privileges.

Deepspace Fest will take place on Saturday, September 19. It is hosted in the Fullerton Community Center Gymnasium, located at 340 W Commonwealth Avenue.
