The Day of Music Fullerton event is once again filling the streets of downtown with various bands, vendors, and other activities to explore this spring.
The event is made possible thanks to sponsors Team Circa and Drake Team Real Estate, the latter of which has been a major support for the Day of Music Fullerton event for the past few years.
This year’s festival is set to be the largest in its history, with more musical performers taking the stage at a larger number of venues than ever before. The city streets themselves will effectively transform into a giant stage, organizers have said.
Now in its 10th year, the free musical celebration is in part to recognize the worldwide Make Music Day. The Day of Music Fullerton event regularly features everything from alternative tunes to more traditional rock.
One of the acts performing at this year’s event will be Jimmy Beall Big Band, performing as part of Day of Music Fullerton at the Bootlegger’s Brewery Tasting Room. The 12-piece jazz ensemble features a variety of brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments, running the gamut from traditional blues to more modern fare, like fusion and video game soundtracks.
