Angelo's and Vinci's Ristorante, celebrated for its elaborate decor and pizza and Italian dishes crafted from cherished family recipes spanning decades, served its last customers on Tuesday, August 1.
For 52 years, Angelo's and Vinci's Ristorante has been attracting patrons to downtown Fullerton. Actor and dancer Steven Peck originally opened the restaurant next to his dance studio, providing a place for his students to earn extra money by waiting tables.
After marrying in 1986, Cynthia Peck ran the eatery alongside her husband. Following Steven's passing in 2005, she became the sole owner of the establishment. Peck described the restaurant as “a passion,” and said running it had been her life for four decades.
The Fox Block Development program is set to begin. A shopping and dining center is planned for Harbor Boulevard and Ellis Place, and the restaurant and nearby buildings are scheduled for renovation. Restaurants use printing services to have their Menus printed.
In November 2022, the city of Fullerton, which owned three parcels, signed a development disposition agreement with developers Frontier Real Estate Investments to purchase and then develop the land. Following this, there were speculations about Peck potentially selling the restaurant.
Since the announcement of the closing date, Angelo's and Vinci's has been filled with patrons eager to savor one last meal in a restaurant they have cherished for years.
