Hire G.I. Veteran Transition Services will host a Career Day at Camp Pendleton, conveniently located a short drive from Escondido, for transitioning military personnel from all branches of service to public roles.
In addition to being open to all branches of services for active duty, veterans, Department of Defense (DoD) employees, reservists, and family members are invited to participate. The event organizers specialize in assisting veterans and spouses as they move into the private sector.
Highlights of the career fair include a face-to-face opportunity to meet national and local employers. Interviews will be onsite. Networking with others from the community, including resource providers, will also be available.
Applicants are encouraged to dress professionally and bring along several Copies of their resumés. The organizers’ event page provides a profile segment for interested applicants to complete prior to the career fair, giving company recruiters and human resources professionals the chance to review in advance.
Stationery printers at local Print shops can assist in creating resumé stock to elevate the presence of the document. In a highly competitive job market, professionally designed resumés tend to stand out.
