The Ronstadt Revival featuring Shannon Rae is a tribute group for Linda Ronstadt. The Revival features a seven-piece band, including a pedal steel guitar and fiddle, which will help recreate the authentic Linda Ronstadt sound.
The Revival performs songs drawn from all stages of Ronstadt’s career, from her start with The Stone Poneys in 1967 to her work in the 1970s, when she created her own renditions of hits by songwriters such as The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Smokey Robinson, and more. The concert also features “Mad Love”, her hit 1980s album in which she embraced a New Wave sound.
Shannon Rae and her band also tell stories of Ronstadt’s life as they perform her classic hits like “Tracks of My Tears,” “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” and the smash “Blue Bayou.” In her 40-year career, Ronstadt has won numerous awards, including 12 Grammys, and has sold over 100 million albums throughout the world. A review of Ronstadt Revival says:
“From someone who has seen Linda at least 5 times, this is a great show!"
Shannon Rae and the Ronstadt Revival will be at Escondido’s California Center for the Arts on January 12. When planning an event like this, organizers should consider that audiences are likely to want more information about the subject of the tribute. They could use brochure printing to create informative programs for the occasion.
