Tribute bands coming to Escondido

Tribute bands honoring two of rock’s iconic outfits are coming to Escondido.

Billy Nation is on the way to Escondido, and he’s bringing special guests Fleetwood Max. Billy Nation pays tribute to Billy Joel with a performance that captures the energy and spirit of the artist himself. Audiences will hear upbeat tunes like “We Didn’t Start the Fire” and “Uptown Girl,” as well as classic ballads such as “Just the Way You Are” and “Piano Man,” all done so well it’s like being at a Billy Joel concert. A review says:
“Super fun show, tons of energy and great songs. All around nice and very talented guys.”

Fleetwood Max will be on hand to recreate Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits, such as “Dreams” and “Go Your Own Way.” As with Billy Nation, Fleetwood Max puts on a show that is an authentic recreation of the work of the band, who are one of the most popular groups of all time. One fan said:
“Fun time for sure! . . . Kinda hard to imitate Stevie Nicks but she did it.”

Tributes to Billy Joel & Fleetwood Mac: An Evening with Billy Nation & Fleetwood Max will appear November 18 at the Ritz Theater on East Grand Avenue. Doors open for VIPS at 6.30pm, and for general admission holders at 7.00pm. The show itself is set to begin at 7.30pm. Organizers of performances like this can use poster printing to create effective advertising for them.
