An event almost everyone could love is on the schedule in Escondido.
The annual Escondido Chocolate Festival, “For the Love of Chocolate,” takes place along Grand Avenue, where festivalgoers will enter and leave various locations that have chocolate tastings on offer.
Almost 20 designated spas, shops, and restaurants are expected to take part, supplying chocolate samples paired with appropriate local beers and wines. The occasion is perfect for couples, but it is more broadly aimed at anyone who has a sweet tooth.
Anyone who wants to attend will purchase a Passport Ticket that includes a drink wristband, a tasting glass, and a swag bag filled with coupons, goodies, and information about the hosting businesses. A map will also be provided to show participating establishments. When events like this are planned, organizers can use flyer printing to create maps for those taking part.
Attendees will pick up their Passports from Will Call, and then may take a leisurely stroll through the downtown, visiting the tasting locations in any order they choose. While at the stop, they can sample chocolate, or a dish with a chocolate theme, along with champagne, beer, wine, or a non-alcoholic drink. The only limitation is that anyone drinking alcohol must finish the drink on the premises.
The Escondido Chocolate Festival is scheduled for February 11, from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The festival is limited to 350 participants and tickets are required, so anyone interested should purchase admission now to avoid disappointment.
