Sudsy celebration in Escondido

A local Escondido business is celebrating its 26th anniversary with a sudsy brew.

Stone Brewing has been in business for just over a quarter-century, and has created a special beer to celebrate. The brewery just announced the Stone 26th Anniversary Imperial IPA, which is a variation on the first beer they ever brewed, Stone IPA.

When Stone began brewing its first beer 25 years ago, it was different to many other brews, as it was considered bitter, hoppy, and intense, but it became a top seller. To celebrate that early success, Stone has made a new version of its first venture, which remains its best-selling brew.

Stone, which opened in 1996, was a pioneer in brewing West Coast-style IPA, which helped revolutionize this type of beer. Today, Stone has breweries in Escondido and Richmond, Virginia, as well as seven additional bistro and taproom sites. The brewery offers a variety of craft beers in addition to Stone IPA. BeerAdvocate magazine has twice called Stone the “All-time Top Brewery on Planet Earth.”

The company is also environmentally conscious, and has won a LEED Silver Certification. It is also known for its creative utilization of used grains, and its water reclamation efforts.

The anniversary IPA is available now across the nation in bottles, cans, and on draft. When products like this are released, companies can use brochure printing to create Brochures about them.
