The Escondido Renaissance Fantasy Faire with a Pirate Flair will take place in the fall. Presented by Olde Tyme Productions, Inc., the event is expected to attract a large crowd.
The festival will take place at Felicita Park and will feature costumed participants, a wide range of entertainment and activities and period vendors offering garments and crafts. Food vendors will be on hand offering palette temptations.
Vendors often work with local Print shops in preparation for participation in public events. Banner printing is a standard order as they are placed in booths or areas to depict the vendor company and general information.
The Elizabethan Era is the period focus and the organizers strive to educate and entertain. Field battles and pageants are arranged for viewing as well as a variety of performances and shows. Authentic drinks in the pub draw adults.
Other features include the King Richard’s Tavern, a Kid’s Zone, and an archery tournament. A full contact jousting tournament which will feature WorldJoust: Tournament of Horse is also on the agenda.
The Escondido Renaissance Fantasy Faire with a Pirate Flair will take place over two weekends beginning October 30 and 31, and again November 6 and 7. Felicita Park is located at 742 Clarence Ln.
