To publicize its range of materials available for use with an eReader, Escondido Library is holding an information and training session to help its patrons learn how to use them.
The session, which is named ‘eReaders eXplained’, will provide all the information that people need to know to access this relatively new form of technology. Whether a person uses an iPad, iPhone, a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet, they will receive help and simple instructions in how to perform the one-time setup that is required.
They will also learn how to download the free eBooks and audiobooks available for their use from the library. A firm that provides poster printing services will be able to create Signs that advertise these training sessions and also let the public know that these types of materials are available for them to use free of charge.
This session will take place on April 28th in the Turrentine Room, starting at 6:00 pm. The number of seats will be set at just 20 people, so those interested in taking part are asked to come out early in order to ensure they get a spot. They are also encouraged to take their own electronic device along with them, as this will allow them to get the most from the training they will receive.Get a Free Quote for Signs
