Fall fun comes to Escondido

A historic event will take place once again in Escondido.

The Escondido Downtown Business Association is presenting the annual Grand Avenue Fall Festival, which has now been held for more than 30 years. It takes place in Historic Downtown Escondido, along Grand Avenue.

The day is in the traditional format of a street fair, with retail, craft, and food vendors setting up along the avenue. Hundreds of vendors are expected, offering international cuisine, imports, and handcrafted goods. In addition, Art in the Garden, a beer and wine garden, and live music from professional musicians are planned. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create handouts with schedules for attendees.

Shoppers can hunt for jewelry, home décor, and more from the retail vendors, while food vendors will have cuisines including African, Thai, Filipino, and products like bread and coffee. Experts in home improvement and banking are just two examples of the service providers who will attend.

Bands on the Main Stage are the Kings of Karma, who play Southern California rock; the Band of Wolves, who are set to play soulful blues/rock; and classic rockers Custard Pie. Visitors to the Community Stage will see the Ballet Folklorico, Bear Valley Middle School Dance, Georgia's School of Dance, the Mariachi Diaz Trio, an East West MMA Demonstration, the 6 Years Apart Band, and the Knuckleheads Band, which winds up the shows on this stage.

The Fall Festival is on October 15 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
