A new hotel will be going up in the San Diego suburb of Escondido, according to an item on CBS8's website.
The unusual hotel will have a brewery theme, according to Stone Brewing, which made the announcement August 11. According to the co-founder and CEO of Stone Brewing, Greg Koch, the brewer has partnered with Untitled Hospitality for the project. The hotel will be sited next to the extant Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, and United Hospitality will own, build, and manage it.
Koch says that the company has been thinking about putting a hotel on the site for over six years, but let the plans go to concentrate on brewing. However, when Untitled Hospitality approached Stone with the idea of going ahead with the project, the company accepted, since Koch believes that Untitled's Robert Cartwright shares the necessary ethos, ideals, and creativity. Koch says that he and his company are certain the hotel will extend and enhance what he calls the ‘Stone experience’.
The hotel is expected to open early in 2018, and is centered around Stone beer. Beer will flow from a tap, there will be three bars, and Stone memorabilia will be available. Guests will receive a complimentary beer when they check in, and they can have growlers delivered to their rooms.
Companies like these can benefit by working with brochure printers, who can create illustrated, colorful Booklets for area-wide distribution, which may rouse interest in these kinds of projects.
