Escondido home tour to showcase adobe architecture

The Escondido History Center has organized a tour of some of the properties that can be found in the community, and these have been chosen as examples of adobe architecture that was popular from the 1930s to the 1970s.

This year’s event will include five homes, and both the external and other features of the locations will be open for viewing. Guests will be able to see the courtyards, edible gardens, and succulent landscapes that are incorporated in the sites, and the occasion will be offered as a self-guided tour.

The ticket holders will be welcome to visit the properties from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. They are reminded to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking, as many of the walkways and steps will be uneven. The tickets to participate are being offered in advance for $25.00, and once one has been purchased, the holder will receive information about the house locations and a program that includes more details and the story of each of the stops on the tour. Maps and other materials for an event like this can be sourced from a printing services in the local area.

The 8th Annual Adobe Home Tour will be held on March 18th, and the proceeds will be used to help support the Escondido History Center. Additional information can be found on the Visit Escondido website.
