An Escondido craft brewery will not be looking to the future this New Year's Eve. The Stone Craft Beer New Year features an ‘80s theme that promises to turn back the clock when 2020 arrives.
The colorful New Year celebration is put on by Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and includes music, food and, of course, craft beer.
Tickets are $99 each, and holders are eligible for tokens for 3 drinks (Stone craft beer and wines), and appetizers and desserts, and a special glass to toast with at midnight. Designated driver tickets are $79.
The venue will be decked out in 1980s style with classic arcade games, photo ops, and party favors. The ‘80s cinematic classic ‘Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure’ will be playing in the brewery's mezzanine.
The food will also have a distinct ‘80s flavor with some culinary throwbacks like spinach and artichoke dip served in bread bowls, seven layer dip, and pigs in a blanket. Desserts will include a trip to a special Pop-Tart station.
Organizers of New Year events like these can use Print shops for banner printing and Promotional Products to use as party favors.
Live music will be provided by an ‘80s cover band called Rock of Ages between 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm. The band does new wave, pop, and hair metal classics. A DJ will be pumping out more hits from the decade throughout the evening.
The Stone Craft Beer New Year starts December 31 at 8:00 pm and goes until 1:00 am. The brewery is located at 1999 Citracado Parkway in Escondido.
