It will soon be time for some ‘adulting’ in Escondido at ArtHatch’s annual fundraiser, called INSPIRE. The event is sure to live up to its name as it seeks to tap into adult-style passions.
Attendees can discover their inner Picasso, as there will be canvases to paint on as well as live art demonstrations. There will also be a selection of wines and craft beers from local wineries and breweries, as well as kombuchas, coffees, and appetizers. Live music will be provided by Flawed Perfection and John Lowery.
INSPIRE is ArtHatch’s major fundraising initiative. The organization provides Escondido with public access to the arts and has been open since 2010. Its home is a 7,000 sq. ft. building with numerous art galleries featuring contemporary cutting-edge artwork, local and young artists, and art studios. The studio helps local artists by offering them an affordable place to work and showcase their art. There is also a free art program for teens.
Fundraising events like this one are opportunities to raise awareness, using Print services such as brochure printing. Attendees need to be over 21 years old to buy a $35 ticket, and there is a special $15 ticket for designated drivers that does not include alcohol.
ArtHatch’s INSPIRE is this Saturday, July 13, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Heritage Garden, 121 w. Juniper Ave. in Escondido.
