Concert series continues in Escondido

A concert series winds up for the season in Escondido soon.

The Live at The Centre series is ending the season with performances by Daring Greatly, Custard Pie, and Jimmy & Enrique.

Daring Greatly won “Song of the Year” in the San Diego Music Awards in 2023. The band was also nominated for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Rock Artist.” They are originally from Calgary, Alberta, and are now based in San Diego. They merge country and rock into a completely original sound that is a hit on both sides of the border.

Custard Pie is a tribute band to two of the greatest groups in rock, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. They are based in San Diego, and their performances concentrate heavily on LZ classics like “Stairway to Heaven” and “Communication Breakdown.” They also perform Stones hits like “Satisfaction,” as well as music from other bands like Cream, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, and more.

Jimmy & Enrique is Jimmy Patton and Enrique Platas. Patton plays guitar while Platas plays bongos and cajon. Most of their work is instrumental, but Platas sings in Spanish occasionally. They are a San Diego favorite.

There are several venues at The Centre, and this concert is set for the Moonlight Veranda, which offers splendid views of the city and the mountains. The concert is scheduled for September 14, and general admission is free. Organizers of events like this often choose poster printing as the method for creating advertising for them.
