The city of Escondido will be hosting a special celebration to mark Independence Day this year, and everyone is welcome to attend.
This will be the 52nd year for the annual festival and fireworks, and its organizers plan on it being bigger and better than ever. There will be live music, games and other activities for the kids, an assortment of food vendors who will be serving up snacks and even full-sized meals.
At the end of the day, the 1st Marine Division Band from Camp Pendleton will be putting on a special performance. After this, a fireworks display will draw the evening to close with a bang. Banners in red, white, and blue can be designed by a printer for Independence Day events such as this.
This free of charge party has been scheduled to take place on July 4th at Grape Day Park. Those who plan on coming out are reminded to bring along a blanket and some folding chairs, along with a picnic basket. For safety reasons, those who plan on coming out are asked to leave their pop up tents, pets, barbecues, alcohol, and tall chairs at home.
