An event has been planned for the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido that will give people an opportunity to enjoy breakfast with some big cats.
The facility will be hosting Breakfast with the Tigers. Those who come out will be able to enjoy a buffet-style breakfast while they observe how the tigers start their day. The meal will be held in the shade and comfort of Tiger Trail’s Sambutan Longhouse, which will give them unique views of the big cats. There will also be a talk by one of the keepers, which will give more information about how they care for and provide an enriched environment for the animals in their charge.
The cost to take part in the event has been set at $45 each. This does not include the gratuity, tax and vehicle parking fee. Those who are not members will also need to pay the regular admission price to the safari park.
Breakfast with the Tigers will be held on Saturday, September 3, with the buffet starting at 8:00 am. The day will begin with a check in at 7:45 am, with the meal and discussion to follow.
