A fun event is coming back to Encinitas just in time for the holidays.
The Encinitas Holiday Street Fair is now on the schedule, and although details are still being finalized, a look at prior events gives attendees a look at what to expect. More than 60,000 people have attended in the past, where they found over 450 booths set up, and dozens of retailers in the city's downtown taking part. The wide variety of merchandise available means people can get a lot of their shopping finished early.
Local bands have entertained the crowds in The Lumberyard Courtyard, while other musical acts and dance have taken place on the Community Stage. A special Kids Zone provides activities suitable for children, and the Dog Zone is a great place for the furry family members to play.
When fair-goers grow hungry or thirsty, they can choose from the many food vendors in the fair proper, or visit one of the over 40 restaurants and other establishments in Encinitas's downtown.
Organizers asked that people bring their own Bags to carry home all their goods, as vendors are now prohibited from giving out single-use bags.
The fair is set for November 21 and 22, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. However, interested parties should check to make sure the event is not rescheduled or canceled due to health concerns. Banner printing can be used to provide attractive, seasonal decorations for outdoor events like this.
