Encinitas experiences live-to-headphones concert

MindTravel will bring its live-to-headphones piano experience to Moonlight State Beach in Encinitas this November.

The concert will offer an outdoor experience centered on music, mindfulness and reflection.

Pianist and composer Murray Hidary will perform improvised piano music transmitted directly to guests through wireless headphones. The format is designed to create a quiet, immersive listening experience while participants sit together on the beach at sunset.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, low chairs or cushions because seating will not be provided. Light layers and water are also recommended. Organizers ask attendees to arrive 20 to 30 minutes early for check-in and headphone distribution.

The event is open to all ages and is intended for music lovers, meditators, wellness-minded guests, couples, friends and solo attendees. Organizers say the experience will continue in light rain, while severe weather updates will be sent directly to ticket holders.

Early Bird general admission costs $53.57 including a $6.57 fee. A limited pay-what-you-can option is also available for people experiencing financial difficulty. Each ticket includes use of one wireless headset. Refunds are not offered, although organizers may allow unused tickets to be applied toward another MindTravel event.

Organizers of outdoor wellness and music experiences often use poster printing to promote performers, and ticket options.

MindTravel’s live-to-headphones piano concert is scheduled for Sunday, November 1st, from 4 to 6 pm at Moonlight State Beach, west of Interstate 5 on Encinitas Boulevard, Encinitas, California. Doors open at 3:30 pm.
