A restorative evening focused on sound-based relaxation and mindfulness is scheduled to take place in Encinitas this summer.
This event, titled Swirl of Sound, will bring together experienced sound practitioners for a guided session designed to encourage deep relaxation and mental clarity using resonant instruments and vibrational frequencies.
Participants will experience a multi-layered auditory environment featuring large gongs, singing bowls, percussion instruments, flutes, chimes, and other acoustic elements. The session is intended to help attendees disconnect from daily stressors while promoting a sense of calm and physical ease. Organizers describe the experience as an opportunity to support nervous system regulation and encourage a meditative state through carefully arranged soundscapes.
The presentation will be led by Bob Grimmick, Pablo Ledesma, and Andy Laub. Collectively, the facilitators bring backgrounds in sound healing, meditation practices, wellness education, and musical performance.
Attendees are encouraged to bring items that enhance comfort, such as mats, blankets, cushions, or eye coverings. Additional support props will be available on-site.
Advance admission is priced at $40 per person. Organizers note that attendance is limited and registration is recommended in advance. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
As with many wellness and community gatherings, organizers often work with local Print shops to produce informative material for attendees.
Swirl of Sound will take place on Saturday, July 18th, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Soul of Yoga, 627 Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas, California. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
