Ellen Whealton is a licensed music therapist who uses techniques including guided imagery, crystal singing bowls, medication music therapy, and counseling to help people discover their own potential, connect with something larger than themselves, and learn how to lead a content and inspired life. The upcoming workshop will show attendees how to connect their higher self, breath, and body as they enjoy healing through the power of sound.
Among the techniques Whealton has planned to use at the event are white light induction, breathwork, kundalini yoga, the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, drumming, and more. Kundalini yoga combines a number of approaches that help practitioners recognize their life purpose, which dovetails with Whealton’s aim of helping attendees live authentic lives. Singing bowls of all kinds have long been recognized as a beneficial tool for promoting deep relaxation, decreasing stress, aligning the chakras, and other health benefits.
One workshop participant said:
“I would recommend this to everyone. No matter what your life circumstances are you can benefit from having music a part of it.”
The workshop is scheduled for April 27, from 1.30 pm until 3.00 pm, at the Sound Circle in Carlsbad, a short drive from Encinitas. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create instructional handouts for attendees.
