Networking event planned for food entrepreneurs

An event is coming up in Encinitas that will allow beverage and food entrepreneurs and experts from throughout the San Diego area to meet one another, network, and offer one another support.

The meeting organizer and host is Startup CPG, a national networking organization that helps support new brands focused on building a better system of growing and distributing food. Members of the group describe themselves as being passionate about creating products that are good for people’s bodies and the health of the planet. They are particularly energized about assisting start-ups in the food and beverage industry so they can compete successfully with the mammoth corporations that control this sector.

The team at Startup CPG come from biosciences, academia, non-profits, start-ups, big agriculture, and other fields, allowing them to take a complete approach to helping start-ups succeed. The teams believes its 360-degree approach enables it to help people connect, learn, and cause positive change, which is its aim. It also understands that starting a new venture is difficult, but wants to make the process easier through inclusive events like this.

The meeting is Thursday, February 9, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at MRKT Space on North Coast Highway 101, and those who get there early will be treated to the first round. Events like this are the perfect place for attendees to exchange Business Cards.
