A Los Angeles-based comedian and musician with a string of television appearances to his cred will appear soon in Solana Beach, a short distance from Encinitas.
Morgan Jay is a first-generation American of Brazilian-Italian heritage who has been making his mark in stand-up comedy. He is also an actor, having trained at New York University at the Tisch School of the Arts. He is familiar to audiences thanks to his appearances on Comedy Central, NBC, and “Wild ‘n’ Out” on MTV. He has been performing for more than a decade, and he has delighted audiences throughout the country with his ability to do stand-up comedy, make music, and improvise. He was also a semi-finalist on “Bring the Funny” on NBC, and wrote and performed for the Viacom/CBS Showcase in 2021.
More recently, he has made a substantial impact on social media, particularly on TikTok, where he has garnered more than half a million followers, and where his videos have received more than 20 million views. He frequently makes his performances available on YouTube, such as his most recent special, “I Hope My Ex Doesn’t See This.” His work also streams on iTunes and Spotify, where he gains new followers constantly.
Morgan Jay will be at the Solana Beach Kitchen on January 17. The show is limited to those 21 and over, and tickets are on sale now. Organizers of events like this can publicize them by using poster printing to create advertisements.
