Fundraiser in Encinitas to show good taste

A fundraiser coming up in Encinitas promises to be delicious, fun, and a great way to support charities.

The Encinitas Rotary Club is teaming up with Ting, an internet provider, to present the 19th Annual Encinitas Rotary Wine & Food Festival, a fundraiser to benefit local charities. The organizations that will receive proceeds from the event are divided into two categories – community charities and children’s charities. Some of the beneficiaries are the American Cancer Society, San Diego North Coast Singers, the Face Foundation for Animals, the YMCA, and the Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

Approximately 60 vendors are expected to attend, including 25 breweries and wineries, and more than 24 local restaurants, who will have samples of their top dishes and desserts. The best musicians from the area will provide live music, and a silent auction is planned. Businesses in the area have donated over $5,000 worth of prizes for the auction. When outdoor events like this are planned, organizers can work with banner printing to create sturdy Signs identifying the vendors.

The fundraiser will be held June 4, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course on Quail Gardens Drive. The organizers are committed to making sure everyone is safe and will follow health guidelines in place at the time. Fully vaccinated attendees are not required to wear masks, but non-vaccinated visitors must mask up.
