Encinitas welcomes Blaze Pizza

Encinitas pizza lovers have a reason to celebrate—Blaze Pizza opened a new location in the coastal city at the start of the month.

The opening happened on October 2 and, according to the company's website, the store is now up and running—and crowded with customers. Visitors who went to the new pizzeria on October 3 could build their own pizzas free of charge.

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is the country's top chain of do-it-yourself pizzas. It is classified as a ‘fast-casual’ type restaurant, and its Menus are inspired by its chefs. The chain is known for its artisanal pizza creations, as well as its salads, and s'more pies. Guests take part in an assembly line, where they can create their own pizza, or customize one of the restaurant's signature dishes.

The pizzas are then put into an open-flame oven, which is the architectural centerpiece of each store, where they are “fast-fired” and ready to go in just three minutes. Each Blaze location makes its own pizza dough fresh from scratch, from a recipe created by Bradford Kent, the chain's executive chef. Blaze Pizza also offers vegan cheese and gluten-free pizza dough for customers with special dietary needs.

The new store could consider keeping the excitement going by working with a flyer printing company on handouts containing coupons, which could be distributed near the location.
