In early May, Costa Mesa will host the Hoag OC Marathon Running Festival, a multi-day event attracting runners of all levels to the Orange County region.
The festival will offer four race options: a 5K Run/Walk, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and Combo Crush events that challenge participants to complete multiple races.
The weekend begins on a Saturday with the OC 5K, a flat course winding through the OC Fairgrounds and Orange Coast College. Following the race, the Celebrate OC Finish Festival will showcase sports teams from the area, live music, craft breweries, and Orange County brands. Sunday will feature the full and half marathons, offering scenic courses along Newport Beach, Pacific Ocean vistas, and iconic coastal routes including Corona del Mar and Upper Newport wetlands. The marathon will conclude at the OC Fair and Event Center with a large festival celebration.
Registrations are priced from $66.40 for the 5K, $196.11 for the Half Marathon, and $207.01 for the Full Marathon. Combo Crush events range from $256.06 to $266.96. Participants can also join as charity runners, raising funds for causes while earning race benefits. Virtual race options are available for all distances. Organizers often use flyer printing to detail race schedules, maps, and festival activities.
The Hoag OC Marathon Running Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, May 2 to 3. Race activities will begin at 5:30 pm on Saturday, May 2 with the 5K Run/Walk, and will continue on Sunday, May 3 at various times. The event location will be 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.
