Blitzkid will bring its 2026 Modern Hel Tour to Costa Mesa this October.
The event will give Southern California fans a chance to hear material from the horror punk band’s upcoming album “Modern Hel,” its first full-length studio release in 16 years. The West Virginia group, formed in 1997, has built a long-running following within the genre through a mix of melodic hooks, aggressive guitar work, and dark theatrical themes.
Set to be released on September 30, the new album expands the band’s established sound with heavier thrash and hardcore influences. The Costa Mesa performance is expected to combine newer songs with selections from earlier releases. It will offer a set that reflects nearly three decades of the band’s catalog. Blitzkid has previously appeared at major international festivals, including Wacken Open Air and Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
General admission costs $24.37, including a $4.37 service fee. A VIP package is priced at $68.31, including an $8.31 fee, and includes general entry, access to the venue one hour before the doors officially open, early merchandise shopping, an exclusive poster, a photo and signing opportunity, and a pre-show acoustic performance.
Organizers of concerts and touring performances such as this often use poster printing for advertising purposes.
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Wayfarer, 843 West 19th St, Costa Mesa. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
