Inspired Art Wine will host a Level 2 Oil Painting Workshop in Costa Mesa this January.
The event will be offering adults an opportunity to develop their painting skills through a guided landscape project. The four-hour session will focus on creating a waterfall and trees using traditional oil painting techniques.
The workshop provides step-by-step instruction from an experienced artist, with participants working on a 16-by-20-inch canvas. Students will explore painting techniques while creating their own interpretations of the featured landscape. Although previous acrylic painting experience is recommended, beginners are also welcome to participate.
Class size is capped at 10 students, allowing for personalized guidance throughout the session. All necessary materials are provided, including canvases, paints, brushes, easels, aprons, and painting supplies. Setup and cleanup are apart of admissions.
General admission costs $182.17, including fees. The workshop is restricted to adults ages 21 and older. Beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, and guests may bring their own meals. Refund requests will be honored up to one week prior to the event.
Local art studios often use flyer printing to promote creative workshops and other educational activities throughout the community.
The Level 2 Oil Painting Workshop takes place Sunday, January 31st, from 11 am to 3 pm at Inspired Art Wine, 1500 Adams Ave, Suite 109, Costa Mesa. Additional information is available via the Eventbrite listing.
