Costa Mesa to enjoy wine fest

Orange County (OC) Wine Fest will bring more than 30 participating vendors and over 100 wines to Costa Mesa for a two-day tasting event in November.

The program will offer three separate sessions combining wine sampling, music, food vendors and opportunities to meet producers and learn about the bottles being poured.

Each general admission ticket provides three hours of wine sampling and a souvenir glass. Early-bird general admission costs $64.29, including a $4.29 fee, for either Saturday session or Sunday session. VIP admission costs $100.87, including a $5.87 fee, and provides three and a half hours of tasting, entry 30 minutes before general admission and access to a dedicated lounge. A designated-driver add-on costs $17.27, including a $2.27 fee.

Food is not included with admission Several local food trucks are expected to sell meals and snacks. Participating wineries may also sell unopened bottles for guests to take home. Parking at the OC Fair & Event Center costs $12 per vehicle. The festival is restricted to attendees 21 and older and will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Organizers of large tasting events often use poster printing to promote participating wineries, and provide session information.

Orange County Wine Fest takes place Saturday, November 7th, from noon to 3 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm. On Sunday, November 8th, it will run from noon to 3 pm at The Hangar, OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Dr, Costa Mesa, California.
