Being a citizen comes with its own set of rights and responsibilities, and a Carson event will teach those who take part how to help their community in case of an emergency.
The in-person Community Emergency Response Team Training will be hosted by the County of Los Angeles Fire Department, and space at the Carson Event Center has been reserved for the occasion. There are three days of learning on the agenda, and there will be a total of 20 hours of course time.
The workshop series will cover a variety of topics related to safety and lifesaving, and it has been developed according to standards set by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). It is intended for those who are age 16 and up, and while it will be taught in English, translation services will be supplied for those whose first language is Spanish.
Each attendee who takes part in the full 20 hour course may receive a certificate of completion. The graphic design team at a Print shop can prepare a variety of business documents, including Letterheads, awards, and certificates.
This three-day workshop dedicated to community emergency response training will begin on Friday, August 2, and it will continue on throughout August 3 and 4. The LA City Fire Department's website offers more details about the weekend.
