Scottsdale's 13th Annual 4th of July Celebration will be at Westworld.
The History of Scottsdale Walking tour will stop at 40 milestones that display the evolution or Scottsdale.
Attendees may look forward to bull and broc riding, and kids' mutton bustin' at the Lerner & Rowe 406 Rodeo.
The Main Stage will feature this year's 4th Annual Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Summer Slider Eating Contest Championship where 19 finalists will scarf down burgers and beer for a grand prize.
New this year will be the South Hall Kids Zone. One side will be packed with kid-friendly vendors, and the other half will offer a bouncy house, and lively games including cake walks and musical chairs. Bouncy house tickets will cost $10.
The 7th Annual Parade of Heroes will be honoring outstanding local leaders, and no one will want to miss the 3rd Annual Water Balloon Championship.
M Culinary will once again present its annual Backyard BBQ. Adult tickets will run $50 and children's tickets will be $30. Tickets will include a meal, access to the rodeo area, North and South Halls, family-friendly entertainment, and great fireworks viewing.
Indoor access tickets will also be available for $25. Special front row fireworks tickets will be $25.
Fireworks will begin around 9:00 pm and the festivities will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Westworld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road, Saturday, July 4th.
Event centers like Westworld often get their program brochure printing done months before any large events like this get underway.
