A pair of festivals will be held here in Scottsdale on the same weekend in late October.
Dia de los Muertos Festival at the Mesa Arts Center will hold its annual Mexican Day of the Dead celebration. It will have free admission and will include a Mercado Marketplace, live Latin American dance, music and storytelling, art exhibits, and food vendors selling authentic Mexican cuisine.
The Mesa Arts Center Dia de los Muertos Festival will take place on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Sunday, October 26 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Also, now in its 10th year, the Strada del Vino will be an Italian experience with authentic cuisine from 10 restaurant vendors, wine samples from more than 30 Italian wineries, and over 35 vendors representing the European nation.
The Main Stage will feature internationally known soprano Ripalta Bulo, Iliana Incandela, the Tre Tenore, the Steve Ansel Band, and Sima and her All Star Quartet. The small stages will present two vocalists/guitarists and a saxophonist. General admission will be $25.
This festival will be 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 25 and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 26 at the Old Scottsdale Waterfront.
