Mesa to celebrate holidays with festive activities
Mesa knows that the holidays are for celebrating, and three festive events are scheduled over the coming weeks to ring in the cheer.
The Queen Creek Ball Hawks will be holding their Queen Creek Ball Hawks Golf Fundraiser to raise money for purchasing uniforms, equipment, renting fields, facility maintenance and organization expansion.
The golf tournament will use a scramble format, and prizes will go to top performers. Refreshments and food will be available, and participants may bid on items at the silent auction, and purchase tickets for the raffle.
Golfers can bring business cards to events like this, and may wish to use the downtime for networking.
Foursomes will be $500 and individual registration will be $125.
The golf tournament fundraiser will be December 10, beginning at 8:00am at Painted Mountain Golf Resort, 6210 East McKellips Road.
Mesa Santa Express will be returning from the North Pole for free rides down Merry Main Street to meet Santa. The light rail car will have riders singing Christmas carols and munching on cookies.
Mesa Santa Express will run December 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, setting off from 440 E. Main Street.
The Ehlen Team are presenting a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser, with all profits going to the House of Refuge. Festivities will include raffles, music, and giveaways, along with a visit from Santa himself.
Guests may arrive between 8:30 and 10:30am on Saturday, December 16 at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
