Downtown Mesa celebrates freedom

Arizona Celebration of Freedom 2026 will be coming to Downtown Mesa.

Stage America will feature a flyover and music by R&B, Latin, and pop act Soulitify, as well as a drone show and fireworks.

A USA-themed superhero stunt show will be playing between the Amphitheater and the food court at 6:30 pm, 7:20 pm, and 8:10 pm. Independence Hall, Building C's Main Hall, will feature a Let Freedom Ring Laser Light Show between wrestling matches. Historic Flags of the U.S. will be shown at half-hour intervals from 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm in the Conference Theater in Building B in Independence Hall.

A Patriotic Military Showcase will display military vehicles, and classic cars will be on display. A Yankee Doodle Kids' Zone will be a free carnival-style area with picnic competitions. Building B’s Palo Verde Rooms will exhibit a Fallen Soldiers Memorial, as well as an America's Arts and Culture Showcase of crafts and displays.

Admission and all activities will be free and fireworks will begin around 9:30 pm. Cities that hold major events like this for July 4th often get their banner printing done around now so that they have plenty of time to place Banners around the town.

The event will take place in Downtown Mesa at 263 N. Center Street from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Saturday, July 4th itself.
