Mesa’s The Rosetta Room is hosting a performance by Dogs on Shady Lane this fall.
Tickets for the all-ages show range from $20-$25 and include a bonus performance by opening act Tiny Stxr.
Having just released their debut album, Knots, on Lauren Records earlier this fall, Dogs on Shady Lane encapsulates the musical and lyrical growth the band has had in its seven-year existence, while also offering a glimmer how the band may next evolve.
Following the success of Dogs on Shady Lane’s 2024 EP The Knife, the band’s indie folk chops are on full display with the newest singles from the new album, “Find You” and “Grow.” The eight-song collection within Knots includes themes of identity and self-reflection against the backdrop of an electric guitar-led, garage-band sound.
Meanwhile, the spaced-out and echoey compositions of supporting act Tiny Stxr use a traditional rock ensemble, complete with guitar, bass, drums, vocals and synth to create a sound somewhere between grunge and emo. The band has released multiple singles under their debut EP, Baby Stxr, and are expected to release their first full-length album soon.
