Mesa readies for the 4th
Downtown Mesa will be holding its Titan Arizona Celebration of Freedom on the 4th of July.
Stage America will feature songwriter kav at 6:00 pm, a Salute to America program at 9:15 pm to 9:30 pm, and fireworks at 9:30 pm. A Patriotic Superhero Stunt Show with professional BMX riders will take place on custom ramps next to the All-American Food Court at 6:30 pm, 7:20 pm, and 8:10 pm.
Over 50,000 people are expected to attend the 13th annual Great All-American Car Show from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The show will be limited to 50 American-made vehicles vying for the “Best in Show” award.
Kids will get their own zone with activities geared just for them, and the splash zone will be open.
Volunteers are still needed, and perks will include commemorative T-shirts sporting this year’s red, white, and blue Titan Arizona Celebration of Freedom graphic design, snacks, drinks, and raffle tickets.
Local food vendors will be selling typical summer fare and businesses will be promoting and selling their goods and services. Businesses that do this often arrange flyer printing while also getting their business cards updated in order to have information ready for passers-by. Downtown Mesa restaurants and businesses are also invited to participate.
