Mesa commemorates Independence Day 2024

Mesa will be holding its annual Arizona Celebration of Freedom in early July.

The celebration will go into full swing at 6:00 pm. Stage America will have a program called Salute to America at 9:15 pm with fireworks at 9:30 pm. The We Make History Amphitheater will have Revolutionary War reenactments and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Arizona Band from 6:45 pm to 9:05 pm. Historic Flags of the U.S. will be presented in the Conference Center in Independence Hall - Building B from 6:30 pm. to 9:15 pm.

A Patriotic Superhero Stunt Show will be located between the amphitheater and food court with performances at 6:30 pm, 7:20 pm and 8:10 pm. The Great All-American Car Show will display cars from past decades, and modern and antique farm equipment will be on display at the Freedom Farm.

The Yankee Doodle Kid's Zone will feature free picnic and carnival-style games, and the water slides will be free in the Celebration Splash Zone.

In Building -B, America's Arts and Culture Showcase will offer displays and crafts from Mesa Arts Center, Arizona Museum of Natural History and the i.d.e.a. Museum.

The All-American food court will have plenty of summer treats.

Occasionally a food vendor will get a special red-white and blue logo design put on their paper products for events such as this.

Arizona Celebration of Freedom 2024 will take place in Downtown Mesa from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on July 4th.
