Water park in Coatbridge to close for improvements

A water park in Coatbridge that is one of the town’s most popular attractions is set to close its doors for an extended period, so that it can undergo important improvements.

The Time Capsule is a top leisure destination for families in the town and wider area. Its key attraction is the water park and that will be closed for a maximum of six months. This is so that improvements that are being described as ‘essential’ can be carried out.
Among the changes that will be made are upgrades to its water feature systems as well as the fitting of new pumps, electrical circuits and control panels.

Although the water park will be out of action, the centre as a whole is not closing. The Time Capsule boasts other amenities that will still be available for people to use. They include a gymnasium, an ice skating rink and a swimming pool that measures 25 metres.

When local entertainment venues like this need to showcase what they have to offer, brochure printing from shops in Coatbridge is one of the choices that is available.

Geraldine Woods from the council told the Glasgow Times that:

“We know our loyal customers will be disappointed to hear that the water park will close for a few months, but the upgrades will guarantee its long-term future.”

It will shut during March.
