Slimming club launch highlighted in Coatbridge

A relaunched Slimming World group is engaged in promotion within Coatbridge.

Back in 2017, Stephen Martin joined Slimming World. Since then, he has lost almost three stone in weight. He has evolved into a Slimming World consultant and has restarted a Coatbridge group recently. Print shops can be useful in assisting organisations with their advertising activities, especially when a project has a local aspect.

Townhead Parish Church has been selected for Saturday morning meetings. Martin watches his own weight as a Slimming World member, while helping others as a consultant. He told the Daily Record:

“Obesity is becoming such a huge issue across the UK. It’s a privilege for me to be able to pass on the experience, insight and understanding that helped me, so that I can give my members the support they need to get to target.”

Martin is clear about what is of genuine assistance to people. He knows that combating isolation and providing support is central to achieving sustainable progress.

Prior to joining Slimming World, Martin had tried to lose weight on several occasions. However, dieting had proved to be a frustrating experience for him. This was because restricting what he ate was easier in theory than in practice.

According to Martin, the major reason that Slimming World can be effective is that the approach is not based around the principle of self-denial. Individuals are encouraged to eat a healthy mix of tasty and filling food.
