A gap in the average house prices for North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire was revealed recently.
Official statistics have demonstrated that the average house price for North Lanarkshire is about £15,000 less than the figure for South Lanarkshire. Estate agents can use brochure printers in Coatbridge to promote their portfolio of properties.
In May 2016, the average price being charged for a house within North Lanarkshire was approximately £96,000. The precise figure amounted to a marginal decline from the same period in 2015. In contrast, South Lanarkshire has witnessed a rise in its average house price by around 3%. This has led to a situation where the average house price within South Lanarkshire has exceeded £111,000.
Registers of Scotland released the statistics in question. The figures were compiled by the government and form part of the UK House Price Index, which is a new initiative.
Recent monthly figures indicate that there is also a gap in the number of sales between North and South Lanarkshire. Over 600 sales were made in South Lanarkshire, while 583 sales went through in North Lanarkshire.
Looking at the whole of Scotland in the same period, more than 11,000 sales went ahead. The average house price in Scotland has now topped £140,000, which is a jump of about £5,000 from 2015. Average new build prices have been especially buoyant.
