Coatbridge venue welcomes acclaimed artist

A celebrated singer songwriter will play in concert at a hotel in Coatbridge.

Coatbridge’s Georgian Hotel will be hosting an intimate gig by blues and pop songsmith Boo Hewerdine, cult group The Bible’s founder. Built in 1888, the family run hotel is well known for performances from talented acts. Staycation spots and hotels tend to use professional Print services to create branded Letterheads for their Stationery.

Renowned for his collaborations with a wealth of popular music artists including Natalie Imbruglia, Paul Young and Eddi Reader, Hewerdine had released multiple albums over the last two decades playing solo and crafting hit tracks.

The singer songwriter has received a warm welcome from audiences and critics alike for being both a gifted raconteur and exceptional performer. In a career spanning 30 years in the music business, Hewerdine is considered by many to be a national treasure and since his 2017 album “Swimming in Mercury” has been writing, touring, and recording with many different acts like Emily Barker and Kris Drever.

Those attending the gig will hear hits from his songbook like “The Girl Who Fell in Love with the Moon” and “Funny Bones”.

Boo Hewerdine will play The Georgian Hotel at 26 Lefroy Street in Coatbridge on Sat November 13. The show will start at 7.30 pm, ending at 11 pm. Tickets are now available priced at £13.75 per person.
