Coatbridge slimmer moves forward in competition

A slimmer from Coatbridge is progressing to the next phase of a national contest.

Coatbridge’s Pamela McKay has received the title of the ‘Woman of the Year’ at Townhead’s Slimming World. This achievement means that she could get further recognition at Slimming World’s November event. McKay has been attending a group ran by Stephen Martin, who stated:

“I’m so proud of Pamela; she’s a fantastic ambassador for Slimming World and what she’s achieved is nothing short of incredible.”

In Martin’s opinion, McKay is an inspiration to the entire group. He would like other adults within Coatbridge to think of her as a positive role model for lifestyle change. Groups such as this sometimes use flyer printing services to promote themselves and the achievements of members to the local community.

McKay has shed over four stone in weight thus far as part of the group. In under two years, she became happier with herself and she feels that she has more energy and a better self-image than she used to have. Being vegetarian has not proved to be an obstacle for her shift in behaviour. Support from other group members has kept her morale high.

Previous diets had not been of great assistance to McKay. She has explained that these efforts tended to be ineffective in terms of their outcomes. The lifestyle adjustments involved usually made her dissatisfied and typically left her feeling famished.
