Mondo is located on Main Street in Coatbridge and the venue was listed in the top hundred Scottish restaurants as the result of public feedback. Although the awards ceremony took place in Glasgow, more than one local enterprise secured recognition this year. The Crown Jewel on Coatbridge’s Bank Street received a nomination for a prize. Harty’s at the Fourways in Airdie’s Black Street was also the recipient of a nomination.
It was back in 2012 that Mondo launched. It now does a brisk trade and the atmosphere apparently benefits from two fires. The restaurant includes a space reserved for private dining.
