Amelia Ruddick is aged seven and a passionate supporter of Celtic FC. She was undergoing treatment for her condition at Glasgow Children’s Hospital earlier in the month, when several members of the team dropped by for a visit. Among them was Callum McGregor, who happens to be her favourite player. The stars posed for photographs with the excited youngster and presented her with a Celtic annual and calendar.
In addition to making her Christmas, this event had a positive effect on her health. Talking to the Daily Record, her mum Nadia said that Amelia had been able to leave the hospital within days of the meeting.
Nadia then added that:
“Her dream is to become a mascot; she always points to the kids walking out with them before games and says she wants to do that.”
Print shops in Coatbridge can be a useful option for people when they want to get glossy prints made of photographs taken during special events like this.
As well as suffering from a bowel condition, Amelia also has non-verbal autism. Despite that, she stated that it had been brilliant to meet some of her favourite football stars.
