A fitness company that has a base in Coatbridge has announced that it is teaming up with a charity, so that it can carry out a series of fundraising pledges.

New Age Fitness is a company that owns a number of gymnasiums throughout the Lanarkshire area, one of which is located in Coatbridge. Now this company has revealed that it is teaming up with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland. The plan is to put together a series of fundraising events that will continue for a whole year. It is hoped that £10,000 can be raised for the charity as a result, which will be used to fund heart disease research.

Those who are interested in providing sponsorship will not have to wait long to get involved. The first of the events has been scheduled for next month and will be a 10K run and half marathon.

Flyer printing by shops in Coatbridge is one of the ways in which local charity fundraisers can be promoted. Flyers do not cost much to Print and are easy to hand out.

New Age Fitness director Steven Morley told the Daily Record that:

“At New Age Fitness, our passion has always been about creating a supportive community that inspires healthier, stronger lifestyles.”

The company already has 60 people signed up for its first event, which will be taking place on 13th September.
