Coatbridge comic creator reveals new Netflix project

A comic book creator from Coatbridge has unveiled his latest project coming to Netflix.

Famed for his “Kingsman” comic Books that became box-office hits in cinemas, Coatbridge-born Mark Millar has already enjoyed success with Netflix. His “Jupiter’s Legacy” title has already been successfully adapted for television, and now, another of his creations is set to make the transition from page to screen.

Dubbed “King of Spies”, the new espionage series will also be released in comic book format. Professional printing services are required to release highly collectible graphic novels and comic Books, ensuring that editions are finished to a premium standard.

Millar recently disclosed details on the new Netflix show, which is based on his character Sir Roland King. One of Britain’s leading secret agents, King no longer believes in the system he has been fighting for. Suffering from a brain tumour, the ageing agent decided he has nothing to lose and begins fighting back.

According to the Daily Record, the comic book creator commented on the upcoming release on Netflix:

“The spy world was very good to us with Kingsman and a return to the genre had to be something special. This is that project. I love stories about an old gunfighter back for one last job.”

Millar lives in Scotland with his family and has worked for major comic book companies, including DC and Marvel.
