17-year-old Elliott Davies has been playing competitive ice hockey for almost a decade, playing for Haringey Hounds Juniors and as part of the senior side for Haringey Racers. The Haringey Hounds play its matches in Alexandra Palace.
Davies decided to send an application to the Hockey Academy based in Ontario in the hope that this could sharpen his abilities on the ice, and he was delighted when they offered him the chance to spend a year there.
Danielle, his elder sister, told the Ealing Times that she thinks he could go on to become Edgware’s next international sporting star, and that she was incredibly proud of his commitment to training and playing the sport, adding:
“He is only 17 so he is the baby of the family and is such a character in the house so we’re all going to miss him. He will come home over Christmas and Easter and hopefully, we’ll be able to go and visit him as well.”
Davies will travel to Canada for the beginning of the new season in August, and local sports teams often use Print companies to provide them with tickets.Get a Free Quote for Print
